How to extract audio from video and convert audio to audio?
Input the videos and audios that you want to convert.
There are 3 methods to input files to the Mac audio converter:
1) The easiest and most convenient way to import videos and audios is to drag and drop the files for folders to the main interface.
2) Use the Plus icon “+” on the main interface to import files and folders.
3) Use the menu bar: go to “File” > “Add Files” to add files, and “Add Folder” to add folders.
If you want to remove the wanted files, there are also 3 ways:
Just highlight the file that you want to remove, then
1) Hover your cursor over the file, and a “Cross” icon will appear on the upper-right corner of the file, click it.
2) Use the minus icon “-” to remove the file.
3) Go to “File” > “Remove” on the menu bar to delete it from the list.
Set output options.
Once a file is imported, the file name, file size and duration of the file and the estimated output audio size will be displayed.
To change the output file name, just input your desired one in the “Output Name” text box.
Click the audio format icon to choose the output audio format. If you want to use the same output format for all the other files imported, tick “Apply to All”.
Use the 3 spinners lying near to the format icon to specify the bit rate, sample rate and audio channel for the output audio file respectively.
Vocabulary
Bit rate: The number of bits that are conveyed or processed per unit of time. The higher the bit rate, the better the audio quality is, but the larger the file size is.
Sample rate: The number of samples of audio carried per second, measured in Hz or kHz (one kHz being 1 000 Hz). Lower sample rates have the benefit of smaller data size and easier storage and transport. Because of the Nyquist-Shannon theorem, sample rates higher than about 50 kHz to 60 kHz cannot supply more usable information for human listeners.
To change the output path of the converted audios, go to “Aolor Music Converter” > “Preferences” on the menu bar. On the “Options” panel, you are also allowed to customize the max-run thread, and how to deal with the situation that the output file already exists.
Convert.
It’s super easy! When all the settings are done, just click the “Convert” button to start ripping your audios from videos, or converting audios.
When the files are being converted, you can pause, resume, or cancel the conversion. When the conversion is finished, click the folder icon to open the output folder.
Also, you can make the Mac audio converter automatically “Open Output Folder”, “Standby Computer” or “Shutdown Computer” with the “After Conversion” spinners.
Usually, the conversion will be done at more than 20X faster speed, which depends on the performance of you computer. In a short while, you’ll be able to transfer the output files to your MP3 player or share with your friends.
